The Executive Committee of the Kentucky Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects offers an annual Professional Design Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to recognize excellence in the profession of landscape architecture in the Commonwealth of Kentucky; to provide a forum for the review and evaluation of work currently shaping our environment; and to highlight achievements in landscape architecture in the Commonwealth to a wide audience.
The Design Awards Program is open to individuals or groups practicing landscape architecture in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Please select a category for submission:
- Design: Constructed Work
- Design: Non constructed Work
- Residential Design: Design
- Planning & Analysis
ASLA members can submit projects at a discounted rate typically save $50 (learn about joining ASLA by clicking HERE)
Professional Projects can be given one of three awards:
Award of Excellence: Reserved for the highest achieving project in a given year if deemed appropriate. Award of Excellence is not always given out.
Honor Award: Project Exceptional quality and depth of work, typically only one honor award is given within a given category.
Merit Award: High quality of work
Professionals can submit multiple projects.
A call for awards will be sent out each summer in order to allow for preparation and submittal for the following years Awards Dinner and Annual Conference which is typically in March.
